Overview of the Axis M1145-L

Axis M1145-L indoor IP camera camera with 2 megapixel resolution and full HD 1080p at 30 fps, true day/night and built-in IR LEDs with up to 15m radiant distance, Axis OptimisedIR technology and a range of advanced, handy features including a P-iris varifocal lens, Axis Active tampering alarm, dual codec, intelligent video motion detection, MicroSD card recording, digital PTZ and PoE support for one cable installation.

With true day/night functionality and built-in infrared LEDs, the Axis M1145-L indoor network camera provides high quality night-time surveillance with up to 15 metre of IR night-vision, capable of capturing images in complete darkness. Axis OptimisedIR technology enables the infrared illumination to be aligned with the camera's viewing angle, providing an optimal light spread for the environment so images are not saturated. HD 1080p capable at up to 30 frames per second and with a varifocal P-iris remote focus/zoom lens, the M1145-L captures smooth video footage with good depth of field and object focus throughout image.

The camera's Axis Corridor Format mode is an ideal feature for when using the M1145-L in corridors, door entries or stairways as the technology vertically orientates the stream, capturing only what is essential, which also avoids the waste of bandwidth and storage space because of the reduced file size. The M1145-L provides effective security monitoring with built-in intelligent video motion detection (VMD) and active tampering alarm, automatically alerting users of spotted activity through several different methods, including email alerts.

The Axis M1445-L compact-sized box camera supports edge recording via an on-board MicroSD card (sold separately), offering storage flexibility and a cost-effective alternative to using a centralised recording device. Individually configurable H.264 and Motion JPEG streams allow for reduced storage and bandwidth requirements and Power over Ethernet (PoE) makes the installation process more efficient as power and data are provided via the Ethernet cable. Mobile viewing is supported through apps and support for Axis Companion software makes easy work of accessing and managing up to 16 connected Axis cameras. Direct-to-NAS recording is also supported and provides a further option for data storage.</p.
