Overview of the Axis M3024-LVE

The Axis M3024-LVE is a robust, outdoor-ready, vandal-resistant mini dome network camera with HD 720p video and wide horizontal angle view of 77°.

The IP66-rated dome camera can be used indoors or outdoors and maintains full operation even in harsh environmental conditions. Its ‘true’ day night capability is enhanced through integrated IR illumination, enabling the camera to produce high quality monochrome images at night and full colour images in daylight.

Its built-in video motion detection capability can identify movement and subsequently raise an alarm to alert the user. The H.264 video compression format it offers means low bandwidth and storage use without compromising on image quality, while with wide dynamic range it can compensate for light saturation or high contrast in a scene, combining a long and short exposure shots to gain optimum lighting levels so all detail in the image is visible.

PoE is supported by the Axis M3024-LVE, making installation quick and easy and savings on cabling costs. Combined with SD storage the camera offers an easy to install solution with edge storage.

The Axis Companion application is supported with the Axis M3024-LVE. With support for up to 16 channels, this easy-to-use app allows recording and storage of CCTV footage from the camera's SD card (not included) to be managed via the internet. Providing remote camera management whilst away from site it is an ideal choice for small and medium sized installations.
