Overview of the Axis M3058-PLVE
This dome IP camera features a 12MP sensor and hemispheric lens to deliver detailed 360° overviews of indoor or outdoor locations – 24 hours a day. The unit’s IK10-rated housing provides protection in exposed areas and when light levels drop, the built-in infrared (IR) LEDs enhance night vision at a range of up to 15m. Additional features include advanced imaging technologies for clear image capture in any lighting condition, HDMI output for live streaming to an HD monitor and free remote access via the Axis Companion application.
Multiple viewing modes such as panoramic and quad view are supported, which allow the original fisheye image to be seen with less distortion. Users are also able to examine specific areas of the 360° image in closer detail using digital pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) controls. In addition, multi-view streaming allows the original 360° overview and a total of four cropped areas to be streamed simultaneously at up to 12 frames per second.
Axis’ OptimisedIR technology intelligently adapts IR illumination level emitted from the unit’s integrated LEDs to best suit the scene and avoid overexposure. For improved imaging in difficult lighting conditions; wide dynamic range (WDR) – Forensic Capture lowers noise levels and increases the image signal to ensure all details are visible in high contrast scenes, whilst Axis’ Lightfinder provides full colour viewing in ambient light extremes.
A range of configurable video motion detection alarms can be used alongside connected external devices to trigger alerts, start edge recording and also inform users of potential incidents via email notification.
The free Axis Companion application can be easily installed to offer a simple video management solution for up to 16 cameras. Available as a PC client or mobile application for iOS and android devices, this handy software offers remote access to live views as well as playback of recordings.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
