Overview of the Axis P1354-E (0528-001)

The Axis P1354-E is an outdoor network camera suited to high-resolution video surveillance in light conditions bright and dark. Featuring the Axis Lightfinder system, the P1354-E is capable of producing colour video in near-dark conditions. This camera also features a switchable infrared-cut filter to integrate with infrared lighting for use in complete darkness and with HD 720p resolution the images are sharp and clear in a wide spectrum of light conditions.

For intelligent event detection, the camera can be supplemented with video analytics using the Axis Camera Application Platform. Features including cross-line detection, detection of missing objects and directional detection can be added on a per-camera basis. The P1354-E can also be mounted and set up in minutes using PoE and its automatic back focus facility.

To add to the flexibility, the built-in recording system stores video directly on-board of the camera, when using a MicroSD card, or straight onto a NAS. Moreover, 2-way audio provides the opportunity to listen or record sound from around the camera and allows operators to verbally challenge intruders or communicate with people at the camera location.

With the free Axis Camera Companion software, you can set up a network of surveillance cameras using solely the cameras' MicroSD card for the recordings, negating the need for a recorder, PC or server for the storage of footage, whilst video storage can also take place on a NAS, offering additional flexibility and capacity.
