Overview of the Axis P1405-LE Mk II

IP66-rated outdoor-ready P1405-LE Mk II from the compact Axis P14 series, complete with true day/night capability and 10m IR night-vision. It also delivers HD 1080p at 30 fps, 93° wide horizontal viewing angle, P-iris control, wide dynamic range (WDR) - Forensic Capture and Axis Lightfinder technology. The Axis Companion application is free to download and offers a mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Additional features include edge storage and easy installation using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

Part of the compact and outdoor-ready P14 series, this bullet camera includes built-in IR LEDs that provide up to 10m of night-vision for detailed 24-hour surveillance. An adjustable horizontal viewing angle from 32° to 93° enables wide area coverage, adapted to best capture the scene. P-iris control ensures optimum clarity, contrast, resolution and depth of field whilst remote focus and zoom removes the need for manual fine-tuning, simplifying installation.

The camera copes well in a variety of lighting conditions as WDR - Forensic Capture technology captures detail in strongly backlit parts of a scene or where dark shadows exist, and Axis Lightfinder technology provides high-level image capture in poor lighting. If the area being monitored is more vertical than horizontal, Axis Corridor Format vertically orientates the video stream to prevent redundant areas from being recorded, to reduce bandwidth and storage use. In addition to dual codec support, the unit provides the user with a flexible CCTV solution to suit a variety of requirements.

The Axis P1405-LE Mk II is able to alert users when activity is detected using intelligent video capabilities, providing accurate CCTV monitoring. The MicroSD card slot provides a low-cost and removable storage solution and can also provide data backup (MicroSD card not included). With power through the network cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE), the camera can be quickly and cost-effectively installed.

The Axis Companion application provides support for up to 16 cameras, whilst the Axis Companion mobile app is available to download for free, enabling remote viewing via iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. An integrated wall-bracket and an adjustable weather shield are included with the P1405-LE Mk II and enable easy and durable outdoor mounting.
