Overview of the Axis P1445-LE
Part of the popular P14 Series, this external network camera from Axis is capable of delivering 2 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day.
Integrated infrared (IR) LEDs help to enhance night vision at a range of up to 40m, whilst the unit's IK10-rated casing allows it to be safely deployed in exposed locations. Additional features include Forensic WDR and Lightfinder technologies to help improve image quality in challenging light conditions.
The unit's varifocal lens provides horizontal viewing angles up to 110° and allows optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Support for multi-view streaming allows up to eight specific regions within the camera's field of view to be cropped and streamed separately for live viewing or recording - ideal when closely monitoring areas of interest.
Axis OptimisedIR technology adjusts the intensity of the camera's IR LEDs to help prevent details from being lost through over-exposure when objects move close to the camera. Imaging technologies such as Forensic WDR ensures the capture of details in high contrast scenes, whilst Axis' Lightfinder provides full colour viewing in ambient light extremes. In addition, Axis Corridor Format vertically orientates the video stream, allowing the field of view to be optimised for monitoring narrow areas such as manufacturing aisles, roads and runways.
The integrated alarm and audio I/O ports allow users to connect external devices that can help enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio. A variety of audio, motion detection and tampering alarms can also be used alongside connected external devices to trigger alerts, start recording to the on-board MicroSD card (not included) and also inform users of activity via email notification.
Axis Zipstream technology is included to help lower bandwidth and storage requirements. It does this by analysing and optimising the video stream in real-time, recording interesting detail in high quality, while unnecessary data is removed. With support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), this camera is able to receive power and network connectivity over one cable for cost-effective installation.
Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
