Overview of the Axis P3245-LVE

This versatile dome IP camera delivers smooth, HD 1080p resolution video at up to 25 frames per second (fps). Part of Axis' P32 series, this model features an IK10-rated housing to provide robust protection in exposed external areas and supports true day/night recording that is enhanced by OptimisedIR illumination up to 40m. A range of advanced imaging technologies are also included for clear image capture in any lighting condition, and the unit is pre-loaded with helpful security features to offer enhanced cyber protection.

A choice of varifocal lens is available and enables the optimum viewing angle to be set during installation and offers wide horizontal views of up to 100°. Areas of interest can be monitored closely using the multi-streaming feature which enables two regions within the field of view to be cropped and streamed separately for live viewing or recording.

Axis' 7th generation of ARTPEC chip further improves all of the signature Axis technologies that have been created to improve imaging in difficult light conditions. Axis' advanced Lightfinder 2.0 technology is supported to provide full colour viewing in ambient light extremes, whilst Forensic WDR ensures the capture of details in high contrast scenes.

Configurable video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) to ensure all motion is captured and also send alerts of activity to the user via email notification. Additionally, external devices can be connected via I/O ports to help enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio.

Remote focus and zoom eliminates the need for hands-on fine tuning and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) compatibility means the camera can be supplied with both power and network connectivity over a single cable - simplifying installation. Additionally, this model includes a range of handy features to assist in the prevention of unauthorised access. Signed firmware and secure boot also help to ensure the integrity and authenticity of the camera's firmware.

Please note: there is no power supply included with this unit. It is power over ethernet capable.
