Overview of 0292-001 Axis P3301-V

The Axis P3301-V is a fixed dome surveillance camera ideally suited for unobtrusive observation of exposed indoor areas where vandalism could be an issue, such as schools and factories. The vandal-resistant casing offers rugged and durable protection against vandals and is able to withstand an impact of 1,000 kg. Built-in motion detection and anti-tampering alarms trigger recording and notify you by e-mail of any untoward activity (e.g. spray-painting or blocking the camera lens).

The camera's progressive scan capability ensures that images are free from motion blur and distortion, and its wide dynamic range provides detail in both highlighted and shadowed areas. The camera's built-in microphone provides an audio feed of the camera's surroundings, allowing you to listen in.

The P3301-V's Power over Ethernet capability is a one-cable solution for both power and network connectivity, reducing time and cost of installation. A built-in pixel counter helps the installer to ensure that image quality meets user or regulatory requirements. The angle of the lens can be adjusted, giving you more flexibility when installing the camera.

This camera is also compatible with the free Axis Camera Companion software. Record HDTV-quality video directly to NAS storage devices and view up to 16 cameras on a network using a mobile phone using downloadable apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices, allowing you to monitor on the move.
