Overview of the Axis P3365-VE
IP66 and IK10 rated outdoor-ready P3365-VE dome network camera from the Axis P33 series with a P-iris 100° view lens and full frame rate HD 1080p capability 24 hours a day with true day/night functionality. Other features include SD card storage, PoE, two-way audio, wide dynamic range and I/O ports.
Part of the compact P33 series of dome network cameras from Axis, the P3365-VE outdoor-ready dome provides durable and robust surveillance suitable for external use in demanding environments. With a 100° view P-iris lens and full frame rate HD 1080p (30 fps) video, the P3365-VE delivers wide-angle, smooth footage in all lighting conditions. The P3365-VE has an infrared-cut filter that enables the camera to automatically switch between full colour daytime mode to monochrome night-time mode, providing true day/night functionality.
With wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, the Axis P3365-VE is able to capture clear images even in strongly backlit environments, ensuring detail can still be identified and is not saturated by highlights or shadows. Remote focus and zoom provides easy installation and lens adjustment is done using the network interface as opposed to manually. Users can view a scene in closer detail using the digital PTZ feature.
Additionally, the Axis P3365-VE can provide two-way audio when a microphone and speaker are connected (not included), to enable audio recording and verbal interaction through the camera. Audio, tamper and motion detection alerts users to activity via email, also triggering SD card recording amongst other actions. Multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG streams can be provided at the same time.
Power via Power over Ethernet (PoE) lowers the cost of installation whilst SD card recording also lowers system costs by removing the need for centralised PC or servers. If the camera is used with centralised storage devices, the SD card provides a handy backup solution to ensure data remains uninterrupted even during network intermittence.
