Overview of 0430-002 Axis Q6035-E

The Axis Q6035-E is an outdoor IP pan/tilt/zoom security camera with an IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated casing, offering protection from extreme weather conditions including ice and snow. In addition to this, the Q6035-E is capable of providing HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second or HD 720p video at 60 frames per second, making it ideal for capturing detailed footage of rapid movements. Combined with 20x optical zoom and high-speed PTZ functionality, enabling rapid reposition of the camera's field of view, this makes the Q6035-E ideal for outdoor installation in mission critical locations where a durable and robust camera is required, such as perimeter surveillance, industrial sites and airports.

The Q6035-E is capable of streaming multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video feeds simultaneously, enabling you to set different quality levels for recording and live monitoring. Active Gatekeeper technology moves the camera to a preset position when motion is detected outside of user-defined settings, useful for capturing faces at entrance points or car number plates. Additional intelligent video analytics can be tailored to alert you when any untoward activity is detected.

In addition to these analytics features, the Q6035-E has an automatic infrared cut-filter, allowing the camera to switch to a high-quality black and white image when light levels drop below a pre-defined threshold (infrared lighting required, not supplied). An integrated SD card slot enables on-board storage of recordings to an SD card (not supplied).

As well as its durable casing, the Q6035-E is equipped with Axis's Arctic Temperature Control, enabling startup and operation of the camera at temperatures well below freezing. To simplify installation, the Q6035-E is also equipped with High Power over Ethernet, providing network connectivity and power through just one cable. This reduces cost and difficult of installation, an useful feature if the camera needs to be installed in challenging conditions.
