High performance Axis Q6045-E outdoor network camera with IK10 & IP66 ratings, wide dynamic range (WDR), ‘true’ day night, highlight compensation and video motion detection.

This high-end outdoor PTZ camera from Axis provides 360° endless panning, 20x optical zoom and 20° above horizon tilt for effective large area coverage and can even enable a license plate to be read from 275m (900ft) away. HD 1080p at 30 frames per second in combination with advanced imaging technologies delivers high quality footage in any environment. The IK10 and IP66 rated casing of the Axis Q6045-E make it suitable for use outdoors in areas at risk of vandalism. True day/night capability enables the camera to capture accurate, full colour images during daylight, switching to mono capture during low light for a 24/7 surveillance solution. Mobile viewing offers convenient, easy video management from remote devices.

Axis Active Gatekeeper technology automatically moves the camera to a preset position if activity is detected in a user-defined area; autotracking then follows the subject for accurate, reliable security monitoring at all times. Wide dynamic range improves images captured with bright highlights or dark shadows, maintain detail and making images crisp. Highlight compensation masks bright light to prevent it from saturating the image whilst making the images easy to view, for example car headlights.

With extensive processing power, the Q6045-E is suited for use with 3rd party video analytics packages, whilst the camera also offers basic built-in video intelligence such as object/people counting, virtual fence detection and directional detection. Edge recording onto an SD card (card not included) provides storage management flexibility as data can be transferred from the camera onto a decentralised device when network traffic is low. PoE+ support enables the Q6045-E to be connected to the network via the same cable as power, for easy and cost-effective installation.

Axis Camera Companion recording software is included with the Axis Q6045-E, with support for up to 16 cameras, an ideal video management solution for small businesses.
