Overview of the 0563-002 Axis Q6045
High quality Axis Q6045 indoor PTZ dome network camera with true day/night, highlight compensation, two-way audio, shock detection and wide dynamic range (WDR).
With 360° endless panning and 20° above horizon tilt, the Axis Q6045 high-speed dome network camera provides fast and precise area coverage for secure monitoring of large indoor areas. HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second provides video footage in high quality, with 20x optical zoom providing a powerful tool for close-up viewing of specific areas. The Axis Q6045 produces high quality images both day and night through the use of an automatic IR cut filter switching the camera from colour mode during daylight to black and white mode when light drops below 0.04 lux. The highlight compensation feature makes images easier to view by automatically masking out bright light from sources such as car headlights.
Verbal interaction can be carried out through the Q6045 when a microphone and speaker are added (not included); this feature also enables sound to be recorded to enhance video footage. Shock detection is a new feature of the Axis Q604 series, alerting the user if the camera has been subject to impact. Built-in video analytics provide advanced security monitoring, with audio and motion detection enabling the camera to trigger alarms to alert the user of potential security breaches.
On-board recording onto an SD card (not included) reduces demands across a network as video data can be transferred to a centralised device during low traffic periods. H.264 and Motion JPEG compression give the user a choice of compression method to suit network conditions. The Q6045 camera can be powered via High Power over Ethernet (PoE+) which uses the same cable for power and network connection therefore reducing costs for installation.
