Overview of the Bosch DINION IP Starlight 8000 MP outdoor PoE bundle

This bundle consists of the Bosch DINION IP Starlight 8000 network camera and the Videotec Punto HI POE outdoor-ready housing to provide an advanced monitoring solution, suitable for external deployment. It can be installed using a High Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) midspan that delivers power to the camera and integrated heater via a single Ethernet cable. In addition, the Videotec housing is supplied with a sunshield and cable managed wall bracket.

The robust, IP67-rated housing allows indoor IP cameras to be installed in external areas with protection against harsh weather conditions and continuous operation in temperatures as low as -20°. When used in this bundle, the Bosch DINION IP Starlight 8000 delivers round-the-clock surveillance of outdoor areas in clear, 5MP resolution. Choose from two high quality varifocal lenses to suit either a wide overview or a more selective close-up (please select from the drop down menu above).

Easy access to the camera is provided via the Bosch Video PC Client, a web browser or the free downloadable Bosch Video Security app. This mobile application provides a versatile viewing solution with remote access to live views, camera control and playback of recordings – at any time or place.

This outdoor bundle is an ideal solution for organisations requiring 24 hour, high resolution video footage in external areas. Typical applications include university campuses, loading bays and bus terminals.
