Overview of the i-PRO WV-SFV781L

This outdoor-ready dome network camera by i-PRO is capable of delivering high quality, 4K Ultra HD resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps). With support for true day/night recording, the unit also features infrared (IR) illumination for enhanced night-vision at a range of up to 30m. Additional features of this advanced model include support for two-way audio, Power-over-Ethernet and on-board recording to SD card.

The camera is equipped with a high sensitivity image sensor to enable full colour recording in light levels as low as 0.3 lux. When light falls below this level, the IR cut filter will switch to monochrome recording to provide round-the-clock surveillance.

The unit includes a varifocal lens (4.2mm - 25.2mm) that enables optimum scene coverage to be set during installation. Support for virtual PTZ operation allows the user to crop specific areas of the original image whilst still recording the whole area, so it is less likely an event is missed.

Full duplex, two-way audio is supported when a microphone and speaker (not included) are connected via the camera’s audio I/O ports. This allows communication between the operator and scene, as well as the ability to deliver verbal warnings in real-time.

Image processing such as wide dynamic range (WDR), adaptive black stretch (ABS), noise reduction and high light compensation help to improve the quality of images captured in challenging light conditions.

Up to 4 configurable video motion detection areas are available to help enhance scene awareness and deliver reliable security monitoring. Additional external alarm sources can be connected via the integrated I/O ports to enhance alarm signalling.

Variable Image Quality on Specified Area (VIQS) technology is included and allows up to eight configurable areas of the image to retain a higher image quality. All areas outside of these defined areas are streamed in lower quality, helping to reduce image file size and bit-rate. The camera can receive both power and network connectivity through a single cable with Power-over-Ethernet support. Additionally, local storage is provided with the use of an SD card (not included) which can also be utilised as a data backup if the network connection is lost.
