Overview of the LILIN IPS4184ES

The LILIN IPS4184ES network camera is a pan-tilt-zoom high-speed dome camera with HD 1080p resolution suitable for use outdoors. The camera's high resolution in combination with 18x optical zoom enables close up monitoring of distant objects and people, providing easier face and object identification. The IP66-rating of this IP camera means it is a suitable option for outdoor CCTV as it is protected from rain, dust, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C − +50°C (-40°F − 122°F).

With the ability to stream HD 1080p video at 30 frames per second, the IPS4184S provides smooth, crisp video whilst H.264 offers efficient compression with minimal impact on image quality. Progressive scan technology eliminates blur from movement in images, making them crisp and easy to use for for event analysis. Wide dynamic range enhances contrast in images whilst digital noise reduction lessens pixelation in darker conditions.

LILIN’s Sense Up technology increases the sensitivity of the CMOS sensor producing higher quality images in difficult lighting conditions. This enables the camera to capture images in both daylight and darker conditions, whilst automatic day/night switching make the camera suitable for 24 hour operation and for use with infrared illumination.

Edge recording is also supported, allowing storing of footage on the SD card (not included) within the camera, ideal for backup or when a system without centralised storage is preferred. The on-board storage facility is also useful for installations where network bandwidth is limited or unavailable.
