Overview of Panasonic i-Pro WV-SW395

The Panasonic WV-SW395 IP camera is a fully functional HD outdoor network dome camera designed to take advantage of advances in HD image quality.

Fitted with a newly developed 1.3 Megapixel MOS sensor, the WV-SW395 delivers high quality images in HD 720p and at up to 30 frames per second, resulting in a detailed image free of distortion. Multiple H.264 and VGA streams offer flexibility when deciding on monitoring and recording image quality. The dome itself is capable of complete 360° panning (utilising the auto-flip function) and auto-tracking, among other features.

The WV-SW395 is also equipped with 18x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom. In VGA mode this can increase to 36x zoom. Super Dynamic technology provides a clear image even in poor lighting conditions by automatically compensating for low light levels and switching to a black and white image. Face detection and Face Super Dynamic features adjust image quality to ensure optimal image capture of any intruders. These detection features also send data to compatible recorders with integrated face-matching functionality.

The WV-SW395 incorporates a number of other features including video motion detection, Adaptive Digital Noise Reduction (to reduce noise and blur in demanding conditions) and Adaptive Black Stretch, which increases the camera's dynamic range capabilities, improving detail in highlighted and shadowed areas of an image.
