The Sony SNC-DF80P is an intelligent mini static dome network camera suitable for a wide range of indoor or outdoor security surveillance and monitoring applications. Housed in heavy-duty aluminum with an impact-resistant dome, its ruggedized finish is weather and vandal resistant making it suitable for a wide range of high-risk locations where security and reliability is critical. As part of Sony’s DEPA range of intelligent cameras, the camera features Intelligent Motion Detection (IMD) which significantly reduces the number of false alarms generated from the camera and Intelligent Object Detection (IOD) providing a means of identifying unattended objects. The Sony SNC-DF80P will stream images at a resolution up to 640x480 pixels and a maximum speed of 25/30 frames per second. The camera incorporates SuperExview technology, resulting in an image which is consistently clear and detailed in even the most demanding of lighting conditions and Dynamic Frame Integration (DFI) which minimises motion blurring from fast moving objects. Automatic day and night switching allows the camera to operate in lighting conditions down to 0.06 lux or down to zero lux with the inclusion of infra-red lighting (not supplied). Bi-directional audio support allows two-way communication with people at the camera's location. Support for Power over Ethernet (PoE) makes installation quicker, easier and more cost effective. Like all network cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.co.uk, the Sony SNC-DF80P has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the internet.

• The camera has built-in support for Power over Ethernet (PoE) making it cheaper and easier to install, especially in locations where it would be difficult to locate power
• Bi-directional audio allows you to listen in to sounds in the cameras location while being able to sound an alert or make an announcement from the camera via a remote location (separate microphone and speakers required, not supplied)
• Intelligent Video Motion Detection: Unlike conventional video motion detection the number of false alarms caused by image noise and repeated motion patterns are reduced significantly using an advanced Sony algorithm
• Intelligent Object Detection: The camera can detect objects which may have been abandoned or become stationary for a specified duration within up to four designated locations. This is an ideal security/safety feature allowing the detection of unattended bags or broken down/stationary vehicles on busy stretches of road
• When used with a DEPA supported recording platform, additional filters can be used to refine the intelligent video functions supported in the camera, such as alarms based on specific movements like passing a virtual borderline or entering a vitrual area
• Image transfer by email or to FTP server based on a triggered alarm such as motion detection or input from an external sensor
• 16MB of pre-/post-alarm storage buffer allows images to be captured and transferred before and after an event took place. Storage can be extended using Compact Flash
• Alarm notification by email, external sensor or using up to three sound files within the camera, an event can trigger an audible voice alert using external speakers (not supplied)
• Privacy zone masking allows you to mask up to 7 areas in the cameras field of view using the supplied SNC Privacy Tool software
