The Sony IPELA SNC-DF85P is a ruggedized mini-dome IP camera ideal for placement in either indoor or outdoor locations with its weatherproof, vandal-resistant enclosure that can be installed in high-risk locations. With Sony’s DynaView technology the SNC-DF85P can cope with difficult, high contrast lighting conditions while true day/night switching can provide clear surveillance in even pitch black conditions (additional IR light source required).

With intelligent video analytics the Sony SNC-DF85P can detect moving objects as well as abandoned objects based on object size. Also when combined with a DEPA based recording system the camera transmits metadata about objects position, direction and speed of movement which can be filtered for advanced analytics and alarms triggering.

Simple to install, the Sony SNC-DF85P can be powered with Power over Ethernet which only requires one cable for both power and data transmission. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Sony SNC-DF85P IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
