Overview of the Sony SNC-EB632R

Outdoor-ready and durable SNC-EB632R IP66-rated network camera from Sony’s SNC-EB600 series, capable of HD 1080p (30 fps), advanced low light and night-time image capture with 30m infrared night-vision, View-DR wide dynamic range (WDR), DEPA advanced intelligent video, H.264, PoE and smartphone viewing.

The SNC-EB632R network camera from the Sony SNC-EB600 series has a weather and dust resistant IP66-rated casing to provide robust and durable CCTV monitoring in demanding outdoor environments. Capable of full HD 1080p and with true day/night functionality, the SNC-EB632R delivers 24 hour, high quality surveillance, automatically switching the camera between different capture modes depending on available light. Built-in infrared LEDs provide up to 30m of night-vision, adapted to best suit the scene by Sony’s advanced IR technology to prevent overexposure.

Featuring Sony’s IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system, the SNC-EB632R delivers image enhancing technologies including View-DR technology that assists with face detection in high-contrast scenes such as car park entrances, Visibility Enhancer (VE) to fine-tune brightness and colour and XDNR (eXcellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) minimises motion blur during low light image capture. Even if the Sony SNC-EB632R is subject to vibration from situations such as pole mounting, Sony’s image stabiliser feature ensures video is crisp, sharp and the effects of camera movement are offset.

Activity can trigger alarms based-on user-defined rules with Sony’s DEPA advanced intelligent video analytics, delivering accurate security monitoring configurable for different applications. H.264 is supported to enable file reduction whilst maintaining high image quality and Motion JPEG is also supported is preferred for certain applications. The SNC-EB632R is powered via PoE, reducing installation costs. Also included is Sony's smartphone viewer which enables remote access via smartphones and tablets.
