The Sony IPELA SNC-RS84P is a fast dome PTZ network camera designed for outdoor use with an IP66-rated casing which includes an impact resistant dome, a sun shield and ventilation mechanism. The camera boasts a range of advanced image processing features to provide you with the best possible surveillance image in difficult lighting conditions.

Using Sony's DEPA technology platform, intelligent video and audio analytics provide automated alarms to catch events that could be missed by human error. Post filters included with the camera's built-in motion detection routines allow you to set up rules to your requirements with features like virtual border crossing and beam intrusion detector.

The Sony SNC-RS84P can be used with wireless networks with the addition of a Sony wireless CompactFlash card which adds wireless conectivity to the camera (not included). Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Sony SNC-RS84P IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
