Overview of the Sony SNC-RS86P

The Sony SNC-RS86P is an outdoor PTZ fast dome IP camera with a 36x optical zoom endless 360° pan and extended 210° tilt. The Sony SNC-RS86P can deliver clear and detailed surveillance footage in even difficult lighting conditions with advanced image processing technologies which can cope with high contrast conditions and low-light environments.

Intelligent video and audio analytics on the Sony SNC-RS86P with DEPA Advanced technology allow the camera to play an advanced role in your security system. Motion detection with post filters allow you to set predefined rules such as crossing of a virtual borderline or beam intrusion detection which can be used to accurately alert you to threats with minimal false alarms.

With the option of expansion through CompactFlash cards the Sony SNC-RS86P is one of the few outdoor PTZ IP cameras to offer wireless connectivity. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Sony SNC-RS86P IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
