The Sony SNC-RX530P network camera is a professional IP dome camera with endless 360° rotation, 18x optical zoom, automatic day/night switching, bi-directional audio support, image stabilisation and intelligent video features based on Sony’s DEPA platform.

The entry point to Sony’s professional SNC-RX series, the SNC-RX530P is suitable for high-end security surveillance live image monitoring and recording applications for any large/medium sized business or organisation. High quality images are delivered using the cameras ¼-type Exwave HAD CCD sensor at a maximum resolution of 640x480 (VGA) at a frame rate of up to 30fps. The camera also supports multiple video compression formats including H.264 so output can be optimised based on storage/bandwidth requirements. Automatic day/night switching allows the camera to adjust automatically between colour daylight viewing and infrared sensitive black and white video producing usable images down to 0.15 lux. The camera also features fully controllable pan-tilt-zoom control with 360° endless rotation and 18x optical zoom (216x combined) for monitoring of distant objects. The Sony RX-530P is also part of Sony’s DEPA technology family. This enables intelligent video applications to run in the camera which will pass data to DEPA-enabled recording devices to record images based on a series of rules and protocols. An example of which is Intelligent Object Detection which records footage and alerts a user if an object has been left unattended in a scene for a set period of time or conversely, if an object is removed from a scene. Advanced features include anti-tampering function, image stabilisation, bi-directional audio communication and image transfer by email/FTP when alarms are triggered by intelligent motion detection, external sensor input or by intelligent functions. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.co.uk, the Sony SNC-RX530P has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
