The SNC-VM632R network camera, powered by Sony’s IPELA ENGINE EX processor, provides a robust and durable outdoor surveillance solution in HD 1080p video at 60 frames per second, ideal for city or traffic curveillance. IK10 and IP66 rated, the SNC-VM632R ruggedised casing is impact and weather resistant, making it ideal for use in harsh environments subject to vandalism attempts. True day/night capability with built-in infrared illuminators up to 30m provides long-range, constant monitoring in high quality colour images during daylight, switching to monochrome images at night-time.

Advanced imaging technologies enable the Sony SNC-VM632R to produce highly detailed, clear images for secure surveillance. View-DR wide dynamic range (WDR) technology captures objects clearly when bright highlights and dark shadows both exist simultaneously within a scene and visibility enhancer optimises colour in images pixel by pixel for high image quality. Sony’s XDNR noise reduction technology enables clear images to be produced in low illumination, giving the SNC-VM632R good low light capability. Image stabiliser offsets the effects of camera movement and makes the SNC-VM632R suitable for mounting on structures subject to vibration such as bridges.

Easy focus, easy zoom and Power over Ethernet support (PoE) make installation and maintenance of the SNC-VM632R network camera quick and simple. On board recording via an SD card (card not included) provides a standalone security camera with no dependence on centralised recording devices. Users can select a variable or constant bit rate to meet network requirements.

The Sony SNC-VM632R IP camera comes with Sony’s iViewer app (available from app store) which enables convenient mobile management and viewing of video for flexible, remote access via smartphones and tablets. ONVIF compatibility ensures the SNC-VM632R is interoperable with IP video products from other manufacturers.
