Overview of the Videotec GEKO IRH30L8A LED illuminator

A low-power version of the GEKO IRH30H8A, the IRH30L8A LED illuminator from Videotec maintains a 30° beam angle, up to a 60m (197ft) distance. An infrared illuminator enhances images captured by a network camera considerably in dark environments as it enables a suitable camera to capture crisp, black and white images. The Videotec GEKO IRH30L8A IR light produces an infrared beam which although not visible to the human eye, illuminates a scene entirely to provide optimum image capture and detailed night-time surveillance.

Technopolymer front glass enables high infrared transmittance through the illuminator, providing optimum light and area coverage. The GEKO IRH30L8A can operate fully in temperatures ranging from -50°C (-58°F)/+60°C (140°F) with an IP66-rated heat sink body. The IRH30L8a LED illuminator is also protected from electrostatic discharges.

Included with the Videotec GEKO IRH30L8A is a wall mount bracket which can be rotated horizontally or vertically. Another mounting option is to connect the illuminator directly to the camera housing (OSUPPIR bracket required for this).
