Overview of the Videotec NXM

Constructed entirely from electropolished stainless steel (AISI 316), the NXM camera housing from Videotec is specifically designed to withstand highly aggressive and corrosive environments such as marine, industrial and chemical applications where intense corrosion is a prominent issue. With an integrated heater in a choice of voltages (please select from above drop down menu), the IP68-rated NXM housing can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor installation, particularly in off-shore locations. The 130mm diameter body is enclosed by two 9mm thick circular flanges and the back flange has two PG13.5 cable glands for external connections. The included sunshield protects the housing from harsh sunlight and harmful UV rays, furthering the housing’s ability to maintain the camera’s constant environment, regardless of weather conditions.

An optional Videotec VIPNX stainless steel mechanical wiper kit can be incorporated into the NXM housing system to get rid of any water droplets, stains or smears, thus ensuring clear vision at all times. An optional air barrier kit can also be added, which creates a barrier of air in front of the glass to prevent particle deposits, further providing clear, crisp video footage.

The NXM stainless steel housing can be mounted to a wall using the optional wall mount and then further mounted using the additional pole mount adapter or corner mount adapter (if required please select from the menu above).

Typical applications

This camera housing is for protecting CCTV cameras in extreme and aggressive conditions such as marine environments or coastal surveillance for docks, rigs, lighthouses or ships.
